Maximiliaan has spent the last ten years designing digital video applications for education, music and business communities.  A scholar by training and artist by nature, he is a pioneer in the emerging field of digital narratives—a field he is defining in both theory and practice.  As an author, teacher, historian, part-time musician, and digital video artist, Maximiliaan wears many hats which fosters an approach to technology as a vehicle for the expression of human narratives.   In addition to his duties as Linke Mik’s project manager, he teaches digital storytelling at the Sheridan Institute of Technology and organizes workshops on digital storytelling.

Tom's technical, software and design expertise are wide-ranging. With a creative, yet critical eye, in emodying the complex in simple designs, Tom has been invaluable in shaping the print-media formats of our projects. With a speciality in book design, and an esoteric interest in fonts (yes fonts!), Tom keeps us entertainingly surprised with his amazing designs--such as the Linke Mik Logo, which is one of his designs!
